Hello. I am Yesh Nagelli, the founder of Commit2Code. I started Commit2Code in August 2025. Growing up, I’ve always had a passion for technology and engineering, but I didn’t know how to start learning about such big ideas. I could see that my school lacked resources and programs for students to get involved with STEM from a young age. Still, I remained determined to learn on my own, but it truly was a challenging process. This is why students need and deserve a structured program designed to teach them about coding.

Commit2Code partners with schools and libraries in the Chicagoland area to teach students how to code after school. We’ve currently reached nearly 10 students who’ve all made significant progress through our August cohort. Commit2Code is designed to serve all students regardless of previous technical ability or school performance.
